Software Engineer

Our Software Engineers are involved in the entire software development life cycle: from requirements definition to customer delivery. You will be part of a technical team that delivers a next generation of adaptive, machine learning-driven technology products. You will have the opportunity to help the company grow to the next stage.

Technical responsibilities include software design, effort estimation, implementation, unit testing, integration, and bug fixes. Our Software Engineers own their product and are dedicated to ensuring a successful end user experience.

We are looking to add smart, driven, and experienced engineers to our growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS or equivalent relevant professional experience
• 3+ years strong experience in Ruby/PHP environment
• Must be an effective communicator (both oral and written)
• Able to take responsibility for large portions of the product and see things through to completion
• The right candidate will be responsible, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Experience with large scale data mining applications a plus
• Experience with machine learning systems a plus
• Experience with Drupal is a plus

We're working with a broad range of software languages and technologies including Java, Ruby, PHP, Lucene, Hadoop, LAMP-based cloud computing, multi-agent systems, machine learning and natural language processing libraries, and wide range of semantic web tools. Familiarity with these technologies is important. Demonstrable experience with the software technologies is necessary.
